Do you ever wonder…
…if there might be a more reliable way to invite “group magic”?

Would you like to feel more confident in your ability to do this,
even in (or especially in!) situations where there’s group friction?

If so, we welcome you to join us at:

From Conflict to Creative Community:
Transformational Dynamic Facilitation

with Rosa Zubizarreta

Ottawa, Canada
March 1-3, 2013

If you are a professional or a lay practitioner who facilitates difficult meetings…
and if you want to learn how to accomplish more, control less, and help magic
happen…then this workshop is for you.

As a result of this workshop, you will:
• relate more comfortably to conflict as potential creative energy
• experience group participants (even challenging ones!) as offering a gift
• have greater trust in a group’s emergent process
• help participants shift more easily from defensiveness to engagement
• help groups work more effectively under their own energy

If you’ve had some Dynamic Facilitation training in the past, this will be an
opportunity to deepen your practice. If you have training in Focusing or
Non-Violent Communication, this will be an opportunity to leverage your
existing listening skills into a powerful way of working with groups.

And, if you have not had any previous training on these three modalities, no worries!
Beginners are always welcome. At the same time, you will
benefit the most from this workshop, if:

--you are open to learning a new approach
--you are open to questioning your own assumptions
--you want to deepen your capacity to offer Presence to a group
--you have plenty of opportunities for follow-up practice

Rosa Zubizarreta is leading this workshop. Gifted at helping groups work creatively with conflicting perspectives,  her passion is sharing her expertise with others. Rosa’s work is based on Dynamic Facilitation, a powerful choice-creating process for transmuting impossible-to-solve problems into breakthrough insights, solutions and possibilities. During the last twelve years, Rosa has developed a deep content expertise in this approach.
As an organization development professional, Rosa also has a broad background in other group methodologies, including Action Research, OST, Future Search, and Dialogue Mapping. She is also a certified Focusing Teacher and has trained in Internal Family Systems therapy. You can learn more about her work on her Diapraxis website and on her blog on The Listening Arts.

Gina Cenciose is co-sponsoring this event. Gina is a deeply experienced CNVC Certified Trainer and certifying coordinator.
